    Date: Wednesday, September 23, 2026
    Start Time: 10:30am - 1:30pm PDT
Where: embedded world North America, Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, CA, ROOM: 207B
    Duration: Three hours

    Cost to attend: $30 US

In this workshop, you’ll gain practical experience in embedded system development with STM32 microcontrollers. You’ll learn how to set up the development environment, write and debug firmware, and interface with peripherals such as GPIO, PWM, ADC, EEPROM, and communication modules with the guidance and training of ST experts. You’ll leave with the knowledge and confidence to build and program functional projects, and to start designing and prototyping your own STM32C5-based applications. In addition, attendees will leave with a STM32 NUCLEO-C562RE development board that’s yours to keep.

The STM32C5 series is STMicroelectronics’ latest cost-efficient, power-optimized 32-bit microcontroller, designed for entry-level and mainstream applications that need to balance performance, integration, and cost efficiency. You’ll get started quickly with STM32C5 using the enhanced STM32Cube ecosystem, including CubeMX2 and STM32CubeIDE for VS Code. Each hands-on exercise will be demonstrated using the STM32 NUCLEO-C562RE development board.

Register today for this practical workshop covering firmware, peripherals, and the STM32Cube ecosystem — everything you need to start building.

    Giveaway To All Attendees

    Board: NUCLEO-C562RE https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/nucleo-c562re.html

    • The NUCLEO-C562RE board provides an affordable and flexible way for users to try out new concepts and build prototypes by choosing from the various combinations of performance and power consumption features provided by the STM32 microcontroller. For compatible boards, the internal or external SMPS significantly reduces power consumption in Run mode.
    • The ARDUINO® Uno V3 connectivity support and the ST morpho headers allow the easy expansion of the functionality of the STM32 Nucleo open development platform with a wide choice of specialized shields.
    • The STM32 Nucleo-64 board does not require any separate probe as it integrates the ST-LINK debugger/programmer.
    • The STM32 Nucleo-64 board comes with the STM32 comprehensive free software libraries and examples available with the STM32Cube MCU Package.

Registrants MUST attend in person to receive the giveaway.

    HW/SW requirements

The attendees will need to come to the class with the following:

    • A computer with at least 4 GB of RAM and 7 GB of available disk space, running one of the following operating systems: Windows 10 (x64) or later; macOS 13 Ventura or macOS 14 Sonoma; or Linux Ubuntu LTS 20.04 or 22.04, or Fedora 37.
    • One Nucleo-64 development board with STM32C562RE (NUCLEO-C562RE), will be provided at start of the class.
    • USB Type-C cable.
