Enabling the Golden Dome missile-defense shield will require a modular open systems approach (MOSA) as it is a system of systems — radar, sensor, electronic warfare, command and control, etc., — that will need take advantage of commercial innovation quickly with upgrades and with a minimum downtime. What this means: The industry needs open architecture designs that foster commonality and interoperability by leveraging open standards like the Sensor Open Systems Architecture, or SOSA, Technical Standard; WOSA; MORA; OpenVPX; and more. This session will detail how MOSA initiatives and hardware and software solutions based on open standards will enable Golden Dome systems to take advantage of new commercial technologies quickly and effectively.
This session is part of our Golden Dome Tech Virtual Summit. Registration/event page here.
