EV chargers must consider a host of issues for deployment, but the longevity of their power semiconductors has often been overlooked. Understanding the demanding power cycling requirements for DC charging and other demanding energy systems is critical to ensuring the long-term reliability of these systems. Where conventional interconnection technologies for wide-band gap technologies fail to meet system lifetime requirements, .XT technology enables significant improvement in power cycling performance and meets the lifetime requirements of the most demanding requirements. This session will explore the advantages of .XT Technology and how it helps achieve maximum power density and robustness with the latest generation of SiC devices.
This session is part of our “Automotive Technologies Virtual Conference”. Registration/event page here.
