The software within a modern vehicle continues to capture more and more of the cars functionality. As you might imagine, such design criteria must advance at a very comfortable pace, as each step of the way must be carefully checked and rechecked to ensure the highest level of passenger safety. To that end, the Eclipse SDV Working Group is developing an approach to non-differentiating software development. In this Keynote Address, Sara Gallian, the SDV Program Manager at the Eclipse Foundation will address real-life use cases with Open Source Software, and what the Foundation is doing to advance this critical technology.
