Brandon Shibley leads the pre-sales solutions engineering team at Edge Impulse where he designs & consults on Edge AI solutions for smart products & edge automation. Prior to Edge Impulse, he led R&D at Toradex as Chief Technology Officer, including the creation of Torizon, an edge platform for mission-critical devices. In his 15 years working in edge computing, he's developed software up-and-down the stack and consulted hundreds of companies developing embedded, IoT, and edge AI powered products.

Ed Doran serves as Vice President of Strategy for the Edge AI Foundation. He has spent twenty years as an executive for some of the world's leading technology companies. He began his career in academia, earning his doctoral degree before diving into industry, venture capital, and startups. Along the way, Ed led teams and organizations focused on creating, delivering, and scaling new technologies for Yahoo!, Microsoft, Microsoft Research, and Google. He has founded four products that he moved from zero to one, delivering value at global scale. He also led global organizations to advance, apply, and scale artificial intelligence across industries. As Edge AI Foundations's Vice President of Strategy he engages with our academic community, industry leaders, venture capital, and startup partners.
Monica Houston leads the AI / ML Applications Team for Tria Americas, where she focuses on enabling machine learning on Tria’s SOMs and developer kits. An avid maker and tinkerer, Monica founded the Seattle Arduino Meetup and was employee #2 at Hackster.io. She holds a master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Washington.
Matt Henninger is a Senior Business Executive with over 17+ years of experience running and managing business development and sales organizations across all aspects of the digital music ecosystem.
Prior to joining Moises, Matt has worked with All Media Guide (through its acquisition by Rovi), MediaNet Digital, SOCAN’s Dataclef, and Audible Magic. He has closed agreements across multiple industry verticals, including UGC, Gaming, Fitness, AI, Radio, On-Demand Streaming, Downloads, Labels, Publishers, and MROs.
Matt holds a BA degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan, where he also majored in Jazz Performance. Additionally, he is a professional bassist; having performed 200+ gigs/year in the Greater Detroit Area and toured nationally with multiple acts.
Ted Kao is the AI product marketing director at NXP, responsible for AI/ML enablement and marketing. With more than 20 years of experience in productizing innovative technologies, Ted leverages his expertise to drive the democratization of AI/ML across NXP’s edge processor portfolio. Prior to joining NXP, He led product marketing, strategic partnerships and product line management across NPU, microprocessors, microcontrollers, and advanced HMI, audio and multimedia solutions. He is based in Irvine, CA.
Davis Sawyer is an AI Product Marketing Manager at NXP Semiconductors focused on SW tools and generative AI enablement on i.MXmicroprocessors. Based in Kanata, Canada, Davis also serves as the chair for the Edge AI Foundation’s “Industry” Working Group, dedicated to real-world solutions leveraging edge AI. Previously, he cofounded Deeplite, an AI model compression startup acquired in 2025. Davis loves to build interdisciplinary products and working with brilliant, kind people.
Srinivas, CEO of Pantherun, brings a wealth of experience in cybersecurity, embedded product design, and high-throughput communication, with a career spanning over two decades in the semiconductor and tech industries. A computer science graduate, he began as an ASIC design engineer in the United States, gaining deep technical expertise that fueled his focus on creating secure, high-performance solutions.
Srinivas has successfully built and led two organizations dedicated to networking, consumer, and automotive sectors, holding leadership roles, including CEO, in companies that grew to over 600 employees and served clients in more than 40 countries. His expertise in designing secure, high-speed communication systems and embedded products has made him a recognized leader in industrial networking and cybersecurity.
In 2019, Srinivas co-founded Pantherun with a mission to advance encrypted data communication for edge computing, reinforcing his commitment to cybersecurity innovation. His leadership at Pantherun continues his track record of delivering secure, cutting-edge solutions for mission-critical applications in a constantly evolving digital landscape.
President of the Americas and Chief Commercial Officer, Daedalean
Yemaya Bordain, PhD, is the President of the Americas and Chief Commercial Officer at Switzerland-based Daedalean, a company creating certifiable AI-enhanced automation and autonomy for aviation. Based in the United States, she joined Daedalean in August, 2022, to launch the company’s presence on the two continents. She oversees a portfolio including the company’s global efforts in innovation, business development, product management, marketing, communications, and partnerships. Previously, she spent seven years at Intel Corporation developing industry-leading advances in partnerships with top global OEMs including Lockheed-Martin Corporation, Collins Aerospace, Indra Sistemas, and Mercury Systems. She earned a BS in electrical engineering and an MS in computer science at Clark Atlanta University and a PhD in electrical and computer engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Dr. David Garrett is the VP of Technology and Innovation at Synaptics' Processor Division. Prior to Synaptics, David spent more than 10 years in the CTO Office at Broadcom. Before Broadcom, he was the CTO of a cryptography startup, and the Chief Architect at Syntiant. David is an IEEE Fellow and holds more than 100 U.S. and 35 international patents in machine learning, signal processing, and VLSI design. David holds a PhD in EE from the University of Virginia.

Mark Rootz, VP of Marketing at Alif Semiconductor, is a business and technology executive with 35+ years’ experience who specializes in semiconductor product definition, productization, go-to-market, business development, and team building. He previously held positions in these roles at leading companies such as STMicroelectronics, Freescale, and Renesas.
Mark began his career in systems engineering for networked avionics, then automotive powertrain control before moving to the semiconductor industry in the realm of microcontrollers, microprocessors, and connectivity. His technology areas of focus include embedded processing and control, artificial intelligence/machine learning, low power wireless communication, and extreme low-power semiconductor techniques.
Mark holds BSEE and MSEE degrees from the University of Missouri – Rolla.
