Stephen Olsen is an embedded industry expert with over 30 years of experience in embedded software development and communications. He is currently a Principle Field Application Engineer for North America with BlackBerry QNX. Stephen worked with several other real time operating systems in many roles, including product line management, system architecture, and engineering management. He co-chaired VSIA's hardware dependent software working group, and has authored many papers on safety certifiable systems, system architecture, USB, and multicore/multi-OS design, and power management.
