Yuan Lu obtained his PhD from Carnegie Mellon University in 2000. His thesis received the CAV Award from the Computer Aided Verification Conference in 2015. Working at Broadcom for six years, he participated in the design of six Enterprise switches including the first industrial single-chip 12-port/24-port Gigabit Ethernet switches. In 2006, Yuan co-founded Nextop Technologies, which was acquired by Atrenta which later became part of Synopsys in 2015. Yuan, as one of the cofounders, currently serves as President at Aizip. The company focuses on providing tinyML solutions for IoT/MCU devices.
