Erik Anderson is an Embedded Solutions Engineer for Trellix, specializing in security solutions for embedded systems such as industrial control systems, point-of-sale devices, ATMs, healthcare devices, and similar domains. With over 20 years of experience in security-related technology, he covers a broad solution set including endpoint security, network intrusion detection and prevention, security information and event management (SIEM) and orchestration. Prior to working for Trellix, Erik was a system engineer for Nuclear Automation at Westinghouse Electric Company, designing and implementing cyber security for their automation platform. Prior to that, he was an engineer for Raytheon Information and Intelligence systems and a Cryptologic Officer in the US Navy. Erik holds a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from Grove City College and MAS for Computer Information Systems from the University of Denver, and the CISSP certification.
