Detlef Preißler is Senior Market Specialist FINEPITCH Board-to-Board Connectors at Phoenix Contact GmbH & Co. KG in Blomberg. Since July 2021, he has been strengthening the FINEPITCH team, an area of product marketing board-to-board connectors and PCB connectors, to support customers in their applications and expand potentials.
From 2016 to 2021 Detlef was KAM Automotive at Yamaichi Electronics Deutschland GmbH (Japanese manufacturer of flexible printed circuit boards, electromechanical components/connectors, test components and systems) and was responsible for two of the top three TIER 1 companies w/w in this market, among others.
From 1997 to 2016, he built up and expanded the "Sales Area North" at Yamaichi Electronics Deutschland GmbH as Regional Sales Manager. Detlef was responsible for all customers and all market segments as well as some specially assigned customers outside the defined sales area.
Previously, after studying electrical engineering/microelectronics at the University of Hanover, Detlef worked for several years as a technical sales engineer for a pan-European distributor (CED Ditronic, IEC Group) in the sales of active, passive and electromechanical components and displays.
