Dr. Mellott is currently Fellow Chief Engineer for Secure Processing at Mercury Systems. Previously, Dr. Mellott was CTO at the Athena Group, prior to its acquisition by Mercury, where he led its security and signal processing semiconductor IP business, providing solutions for major semiconductor providers such as Intel, AMD, and Microchip. Dr. Mellott has more than thirty years of experience in cryptographic, anti-tamper, and signal-processing solutions, and holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida.
