  • About
This session is part of our Uncrewed Systems Virtual Conference. Registration/event page here.

The Department of Defense (DoD) mandate to use a Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) for all new program designs and refreshes impacts uncrewed platforms across multiple domains, whether air, sea, land, or space. MOSA open architecture initiatives such as the Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA), the Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE), C5ISR/EW Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS), and others are changing the way autonomous platforms integrate flight controls, ISR payloads, communications, and other hardware and software designs. This session covers how the military is applying MOSA initiatives and strategies to embedded electronics designs in uncrewed applications.
