Duration: Three hours
Cost to attend: $30 US
In this three-hour, hands-on workshop, developers will quickly learn to use state-of-the-art AI models to add cutting-edge features in embedded devices. With ample tech support on hand, you will develop a practical understanding of resource tradeoffs in edge AI applications with real-world examples. And remember—you go home with Synaptics’ Astra Machina development kit (SKU: SL1680), where you can apply that knowledge and make use of the kit’s online resources to adapt to custom applications.
Who should attend? This workshop, which combines lectures with one-on-one instruction, is aimed at engineers who want to learn to integrate AI into their next embedded system design. Familiarity with Linux and Python is recommended.
What to Bring Attendees should bring their own laptop (Windows, Mac, or Linux) and a data-capable USB cable to connect from the laptop (Type A or C) to the development board (Type C). Synaptics will provide the development board with Linux preinstalled.
