Electric vehicles, aka EVs, are becoming more and more commonplace in our society. That has resulted in the need for more and more efficient charging stations. Such stations come with a plethora of challenges, starting with having to charge vehicles from a multitude of manufacturers. Both safety and security must be priorities, as well as the need to charge as rapidly as possible. In this session, we will look at the various and often disparate technologies that make this charging phenomenon occur. From the grid and power distribution to monitoring and metering, a reliable and accessible infrastructure is needed to support long range mileage with fast and efficient, on-demand charging solutions. You’ll also hear about rugged, high-power solutions for power distribution and conversion.
