This session is part of our Automotive Technologies Virtual Conference. Registration/event page here.
With so much resource being developed for next-generation automobiles, it is paramount that security does not take a back seat to other technologies; not now, not ever. One accident due to a security flaw is one too many. In this session, we will look at what is needed to protect the automobile, including the current and near-term standards and specifications. That includes the MISRA C:2023 standard, which continues the evolution of C in vehicle-based software. You’ll get an understanding of the changes introduced into MISRA C:2023, highlighting why MISRA C continues to be the as the de facto coding guidance for high reliability software and how it impacts automotive safety and security.
