Data has become the new oil, and that is clearly evident in the manufacturing and automation spaces. As we transition to activities beyond Industry 4.0, we must take advantage of the technologies available to us, or we will be left with out-of-date methodologies. For example, the latest networking speeds can combine with 5G to bring data between the Edge and Cloud in record speeds. In this session, we will look at how data can be used for such manufacturing improvements as predictive maintenance, higher levels of security, and much more accurate Edge computing.
This session is part of our Smart Manufacturing Day Virtual Conference. Registration/event page here.
